The Western House Hotel at Ayr Racecourse, drove up, missed the sign saying "valet parking", and after parking were met at the door by the extremely polite valet parker who asked if we were checking in, but no, just for lunch, so he showed us in to a very nice lounge, away from the bar, as we'd said a bar lunch would be in order.

One of our favourites at the mo is the spanish tortilla from Sainsburys, ( where all the pasties, pies & quiches are).
It is authentic, made in Spain by Floristan & takes you straight to spain! Great with salad & alioli. Just bung it in the microwave for a quick, tasty tea.
